Reaper is the application and OSARA is a plugin created by NVAccess which makes it more accessible – OSARA: Open Source Accessibility for the REAPER Application. I would also recommend installing an additional plugin called SWS which expands the functionality and usability of Reaper, link also below. REAPER Stash SWS REAPER Extension ReaPack Package Manager The (unofficial) REAPER Blog. Purchase a REAPER License. A new license includes free upgrades through REAPER version 7.99. It seems like the global install in /opt/REAPER/UserPlugins is not recognized by reaper at the moment, so you will have to copy it to ~/.config/REAPER/UserPlugins yourself. Couldn't figure out how to fix this yet.

In order to build sws you will need to configure your php.ini (/etc/php/php.ini)
open_basedir = <your AUR/sws build directory>

To fix this package you can create a symbolic link from the installation directory to the proper place in your config folder:

It can be installed anywhere on the disk. By default SWS looks for the Grooves directory at the root of the user's or portable install's resource directory. This is where the Windows installer puts it. The macOS disk image tells users to drag it if/where they wish.

@cfillion
I followed your suggestions, thanks for contributing!
Where should FingersExtras/Grooves be placed? Is there any kind of default directory sws looks for it?
cfillion commented on 2019-11-18 14:56
For distro packages I would suggest linking SWS against Arch's taglib rather than having it build its own static copy. php-gd is not required (nor used) for building SWS.
EDIT: Also sws_python64.py should go into the user resource directory's Scripts folder rather than UserPlugins.
EDIT 2: It might be useful to include the groove files (the FingersExtras/Grooves directory) into the package.

Thanks linos! I saved the compiled version just in case.

I changed the webhost to a nonfree one I already pay for, so it should be working again. Thanks for your comments. I have no future plans and don't think it's necessary to share binary builds here.

'Failure while downloading https://swsaur.000webhostapp.com/files/reaper_plugin_functions.tar.xz' +1 Cartier serial number database.
Just reloaded my system now I can't install this package. It would be great to have a bin version so this doesn't happen.
